Since it is still cold in many places, wearing a lace top is a great way to incorporate lace into your outfit. That way you can layer on top of it to keep yourself warm. Or, pairing a lace skirt adds a feminine look to the rest of your outfit. Another alternative, would be to wear an accessory; a hair accessory, or a small handbag to add a pretty finishing touch to any outfit.
For nothing too girly, sticking to neutrals, pales, or very dark colors is the way to go. White, cream, black, navy, red, burgundy, and light grey are all beautiful classic colors that one could add to their wardrobe, if they are not the most daring when it comes to their wardrobes. With black and white combinations, adding a strong neutral contrast
makes it ideal for wearing to any occasion, whether professional,
dressed up, or casual, you can’t go wrong. So wearing a black, or white
lace dress, skirt, or top with an opposite blazer, or bottom will look
effortlessly chic.

However, as I talked about in a previous post, pink (a pale pink at
that) is a great color to wear now, and for spring and summer. Wearing
pink lace is ultra feminine.
