Often times when school starts it is still hot as summer outside, which means you will need to dress accordingly and not jump too quickly into wearing all your new fall clothing. Everyone wants to make a good first impression at the start of a new year, and perhaps a new school where you will meet new people. Whatever your situation is, it's always a good idea to get the most important things your need first, then go from there. Without further ado,Let's get to some ideas that I hope will inspire you when putting your own looks together for back to school.

When it's still quite hot outside, wearing a nice sleeveless top, and shorts are great along with a nice pair of open- toed sandals (not flip flops). The sleeveless blouse is great because it's perfect for hot weather, while it is a more respectable than a typical sleeveless top. A bright color that ties in well with this outfit are some warm, bright orange accessories, and a floral necklace. Gold accessories compliment the color palette and add a unity to the colors. Be sure to keep it comfortable and respectable, you are at school after all.
A Change in the Air

Once that change in the air happens, you know summer has left, and fall has taken it's place. This means a transition in your outfit choices. You can still keep wearing some summer things mixed together with your fall items, just be sure to fress for the weather. In many places once the weather changes, you want more layers, and some warmth, so keep that in mind when your picking things out. Layering becomes important at this point, so while you may get away with sleeveless tops later in the day, wear a jacket for when the temperature is not as favorable, and some shoes that cover your toes, as those are likely the first are to get cold.

With fall in full force, now you get to layer even more for maximum effect. A classic trench coat is a great option, as it is a wardrobe staple, as are riding boots in black or brown. To keep warm, add more layers with a sweater, gloves, and a warm scarf. With this outfit I kept with the neutrals of fall with browns, beige, black, gold, and a deep red. When shopping it's always a good idea to stock up on the classics, and classic colors. You can never go wrong, just mix and match and you will look effortlessly chic and put together.
As with all the outfits, I great big bag will work wonders so you can carry everything you need for the day. This may include just your notebook, laptop, and books, but it may also include your lunch, water bottle, work clothes, work out clothes, or anything else you need to take with you for the day. Keep in mind, you only need one bag for all your outfits, since it's such a large bag, so get one that is built sturdy enough to carry everything, and that has strong enough straps so it will endure lot's of use.
