Holiday Gift Guide 2014

 Festive Holiday Decor

What to get everyone on your shopping list for Christmas? Well, my gift guide will give you some ideas for what to get those very important people on your list

.

Evolving with Tech

Always a great gift idea, the iPad will be well received. Great for practically everything from browsing the internet, checking emails and messages, looking through and editing photos and using apps. Whether you're getting a full sized or the Apple iPad Mini 3 64GB Wi-Fi , now the iPads match the phones, with gold and silver backing with white, or space grey with black.

The Mophie Juice Pack Air ensures you'll get double your battery life. Once you're phone battery drains, Mophie takes over, so you don't have to rush to find something to plug in your phone (a haven for iPhone users). You can get these at any place that sells electronics, and they're available for both Android and iPhone. Other brands sell these too, for a lot cheaper, but I can't vouch for their performance, although I do know that Mophie works great.

For anyone that wants better sound than what comes with their iPod or phone (which is never that great, they're really cheap), or said headphones have stopped working, then getting some new ones (even if they're not expensive)  like the Sony Earbuds with Microphone will be a luxury more than you know.

Anyone that likes to listen to some music while working out will love this gift. Hands free, and you don't have to worry about it falling out of any pockets, or even their hands. Best of all, they're cheap, so you make it a great stocking stuffer. This one is the INSTEN New Sports Arm Band Case Carrier.

Accessories of Warmth

A classic scarf like the Burberry Giant Check Fringed Cashmere Muffler is always a great gift, it's something they can wear forever, as it will never go out of style.

Everyone could use some leather gloves for winter. These Fownes Brothers 'Basic Tech' Cashmere Lined Leather Gloves tech gloves allow you to use any touch screen device, while keeping your hands warm. Stylish and practical. If you're on your phone a lot, then get some of these.

Ear muffs are a highly underrated winter accessory. If you don't want to ruin your hairstyle, but want to keep your ears, ear muffs are the way to go. A nice neutral will go well with any type of outfit you have. This one is the UGG Classic Knit Earmuffs.

For some warm and cozy slippers Sperry Top-Sider 'Paige' Faux Fur Slippers are beautiful classics. Who says slippers can't look luxurious and elegant?

Getting Ready

Although any of the Urban Decay palettes will do, as they are subtle, neutral shades that effortlessly wear well every day from day to night.

Having something special monogrammed adds some sentimental meaning and individuality. This beautiful, elegant monogram necklace called the Argento Vivo Boxed Pendant Necklace is a great example of that. It's simple enough to wear everyday.

Something Unexpected

If you really want to surprise someone, think a little outside the box than the typical Christmas gift. A great idea is to get tickets to something they will enjoy and want to see or do. There are many possibilities, such as going to the theatre to see a certain play, going to a concert, or sports event.

 To Pamper

Earth Therapeutics Moisturizing Aloe Socks are a wonderful way to feel pampered every time you go to sleep, come out of the shower, or bath. After moisturizing, slip these on and keep your feet well hydrated. This is a small, but wonderful way to feel pampered.

Getting a day at the spa for someone on your list is a great gift, and something I feel everyone needs every once in a while (even if they say otherwise). Everyone, and I mean everyone needs to relax and unwind. Spafinder Wellness 365 card allows many options of places to go so there's something for everybody. Whether they decide to get a massage, do some yoga, or a fitness class the choice is up to them. Checkout spafinder.com to see which spas are a part of the program (there's a lot).

Open Ended

Accordion style card holder is larger than the majority of card holders you'll find, but it's worth the hunt. They are bigger, and can stretch to accommodate more cards, or money, such as the 'Jet Set' Saffiano Leather Coin Purse by MICHAEL Michael Kors For holding all those cards, whether they be rewards cards, credit cards,  business cards, or to be used as a small compact micro sized wallet that can fit in your pant pocket, or in the smallest bag, this is a gift that is incredibly useful.

A gift card to a store, restaurant, etc that they will enjoy. Nordstrom is a great one, because there are so many things someone can get from there from clothes to house ware appliances and decor.

I always love shopping for gifts for others. My favorite part of opening up presents is seeing the look on everyone's face when I know they will enjoy what they got. It gives me such a good feeling inside, that I brought happiness into their lives. And the feeling is that much stronger when I got a great gift for those hard to buy for people, that I'm sure everyone has had at least one of in their lives. Am I right?

This post was about what to get others, but that doesn't mean you can't get anything for yourself. What is it you want wrapped under the tree (or in your stocking) for Christmas?
