How to Stay Hydrated & Moisturized

Staying well hydrated is importaant for your overall health, as well as your appearance. I know how difficult it can be at times, when your busy all day long that keeping hydrated can be forgotten, or simply omitted in favor of other things. But, it's something than can always be worked on, and improved on. With some simple steps you can help keep your body hydrated and well  moisturized, year long.

Drink Plenty of Water

Drink lot's of water throughout the day to stay hydrated. Drinking it all at once, is not enough, you need to continually fuel your body. Think of it like those old trains that ran off of the coal in the engines to keep them going, and there were people that constantly feed coal to the fire to keep the engines going. This is what your body is like. It needs constant fuel, constant hydration throughout the day to run at it's best.

Consume Plenty of Fruit

Eating, or drinking juices of fruit (skip the sodas, cocktails, and sugar added juices) are another way to stay hydrated, beccause fruits have lot's of water in them. Some fruits are better than others, but it's a great way of getting the water into your daily diet, without feeling bad, because you haven't had 6-8 glasses of water. Watermelon is amazing, it's composed of 80% or more of water. Since it's summer, bring out the watermelon!

 Moisturize with Oil

A one step solution for healthy, soft, moisturized, beautiful skin. No need for all these other products that promise to fix your dry skin, make your skin soft, and to moisturize your skin during the winter or the summer, only to be disappointed. Using coconut oil every day and every night on the skin will keep your skin well moisturized, and so soft. You will be amazed. I can attest to it. I don't need to constantly look for a new lotion, because I have the best one! It's also a good natural sun protector, that will keep your skin soft, and moisturized, while your out in the hot sun. I've done research on this oil, and it penetrates moisture the deepest in the skin, and in the body, more so than other oils that also provide good moisture and hydration.

Moisturize the Lips

Keep your lips well moisturized, with coconut oil, or a lip chap throughout the day. Lips need all the help they can get to stay soft, and smooth, so don't forget about them. If you find the ones on the market aren't to your liking, you can always make them yourself quite easily.

The best thing about these suggestions is they are all are easy to incorporate to stay healthy and looking good all year long. If you can work on making these things a a part of your daily routine, you will be feeling better, and looking better too. All that just for staying hydrated and moisturized.

What advice do you have to stay hydrated and moisturized throughout the year?
