Easter Outfit Ideas

It's almost Easter, which means you may be ready to bring out your pastel colors for this spring holiday. Let your style determine what you wear for Easter, whether it be colorful, or elegantly neutral. Dressing chic and stylish comes in many forms. Here are some ideas about how to add some color to your outfit:

Dressed Up

Spring In Living Color
Dress: Scoopnyc Bracelet: Oliver Bonas Watch: Lipsy Blazer: Jones New York Shoes: Ava & Aiden Earrings: Feather & Stone Bracelet: Zalando Handbag:Nine West

Keeping it elegant and tasteful, doesn't have to be simply neutrals, although you could replace all the color with neutral pieces and look wonderful no matter the occasion, I thought I would show you how to do the same look with color (and isn't Easter a great time for it?). By adding different shades of analogous colors you add interest to the outfit, while maintaining a quiet harmony, by using similar colors and adding neutrals to complete the look.

Dressy Casual

A Little Sunshine
Top: Oasis Pants:Reiss  Jacket: Topshop Bracelet:Liz Claiborne  Handbag: Diane von Furstenberg   Shoes: Charlotte Russe  Earrings: Kate Spade Necklace: Kenneth Jay Lane Watch: Kate Spade

If black is for fall and winter as white is for spring and summer. White is wonderful, it is crisp, clean, bright and elegant, while yellow is bright, happy and cheerful, so combing the two is a winning combination. For dressy casual, pairing nice tops and accessories with a more relaxed, yet stylish pant looks wonderful and works well if it's not quite warm yet where you live. Alternatively you could wear a dress, or skirt instead of the pants.

Dressed Down

Bowing Casual
Top: Rickety Rack Pants: Yves Saint Laurent Cardigan: Warehouse Bracelet: The Corner Shoes: Alfani Watch: Anne Klein Earrings: Tiffany & Co. Bracelet: Call It Spring Handbag:  Givenchy

Wearing flats and a cardigan always makes the look more relaxed and casual. Casual can mean looking good, by putting a few nice pieces together, and can look more casual than this, but I wanted to show you how dressed up, and nice you can look even when you're dressed casually. This is great for when you're attending a casual occasion, or event, but still want to look nice, and not too casual (if you know what I mean).

Easter brings with it a multitude of colors, pastels, and warm weather, which is what I used for these outfits to give you some inspiration for wearing color, even if not for Easter, but for spring and the summer to come. Bring out some colors in your outfit (even if only in your accessories), it will cheer you up.

Have a wonderful Easter everyone!

Will you be bringing out some color in your outfits for Easter? What are your favorite colors to wear (other than neutrals)?
