Back to School Outfits: Heading to Class

 Neutal Normcore

For most students heading to class means siting down and listening to lectures and taking notes, so comfort is usually at the top of the list. Being stylish doesn't have to mean sacrificing comfort. It is easy enough to dress comfortable, stylishly and even trendy, so you can look and feel great everyday.

Neutrals are always a great way to look stylish and put together, not to mention comfortable clothes always come in neutral colors. A leather jacket in your choice of neutrals is a classic go-to piece, that is always in style, and can last a long time. Just put it on over a simple top and jeans and you're ready for class. Keeping accessories to a smaller number, and always wearing a watch will ensure you make it to class on time, without fussing over what else to wear.

Wearing black look s polished and dressy even when you aren't trying to be. It is a very professional. Adding some ballet flats that are comfortable, feminine and easy to walk in. This pair is in a leopard print, which is a big trend for this season. They add a pop of interest, without being too much, as the bag is the standout piece of this outfit. A classic coat keeps the look elegant and will take you from day to night, and from casual to a dressy occasion.

A Grey Day

Grey is big for 2014 and it is a great neutral that, while a neutral and goes with many other things, it isn't as over used as other neutrals, so you will standout wearing grey, especially if you wear lot's of it. In this outfit, I added some contrast with black accessories, and by mixing various shades of grey.

For a ultra feminine yet still a perfectly versatile and comfortable look for class, try something with lot's of classics, and feminine details. Stripes, bows, black and white, pearls and Mary Jane pumps, will look great without looking too try hard for something as casual as going to class.

I hope you find this helpful if you aren't sure what to wear back to school. It can be daunting. But, at the end of the day, you have to fell good in what you're wearing, so you can be your best possible self, and concentrate on learning the material,so you can do great. I believe that if you dress well, you feel good, then you're ready to take on anything. So please, no sweat pants or pajamas in class.

What's your favorite look? What is your go-to look when going to class?
