Wear It Now: Pink

Soft hues of pink were everywhere on the runways, and will be everywhere in stores and  online. Now is a great time to indulge in your love, or curiosity of pink, because even though spring is still a ways away, Valentine's Day is just around the corner. Whether you are going out with the special man in your life, or you're spending time with good friends, you can dress up in a lovely Valentine's Day outfit.

Pink is a great color, especially in a softer hue as it adds a touch of color and femininity to an outfit, while still maintaining a subtlety that makes it possible to wear to any office (hopefully).  These shades  are not too vibrant for those that are nervous about color, or pink in general, which makes it a perfect pink for everyone to wear. If wearing an entire dress in pink, even a soft pink is too much of a change for you, try getting some accessories in the color to see if you like the color with the clothing you already have. Remember the key is to not be head to toe pink (this isn't Barbie land after all), but just a touch of pink to your outfit is enough.

Above are some examples of the shades, and pieces you could experiment with.  All are pieces you can add to your wardrobe, without being too 'out there' that it would make you, or anyone around you feel uncomfortable. Feel inspired, but only take the plunge if it's something you feel comfortable with, because after all, it is you that will be wearing it.

What do you think about the shades of pink that are in style for spring? Will you be wearing pink?
